{a perfect evening with friends}

My sweet friend Allisen hosted us tonight for dinner and playtime. It really was a pretty perfect evening. Good food, good weather, and great company. I will miss this wonderful family so much. Allisen is so warm, friendly, and easy to talk to and I love seeing our kids together. Her Jack is the same age as Katie and her Sam is Drew's first best friend. I hate that those friendships will not get a chance to continue developing. It was a tearful goodbye as we finally left waaay past bedtime.
