Vacation was wonderful.
Wonderful.
But being home again is pretty wonderful too. (I am 100% positive that I would feel differently if I wasn't getting to see my family again in a few weeks.)
Being away always makes me happy to return. I spent all day yesterday happily occupied with all things domestic. I am really looking forward to the next few weeks of summer- lots and lots of playtime to be had around here!
Things I'm smiling about this Monday morning:

Things I'm smiling about this Monday morning:
- Our upstairs playroom/ office has become even cozier after the removal of the tree from the front yard caused the room to be ten times more bright and sunny than before. I love it.
- I am thrilled to have learned a new fact- Ants hate baby powder. While we were away on vacation, our ant problem returned in full force. I refuse to use sprays in the kitchen, and I read online that sprinkling baby powder near the problem should help...... and it works! Woo hoo!
- I am completely obsessed with the song "The House That Built Me" by Miranda Lambert. I could hear it ten times in a row and still want to hear it again. Gracie and Luke like it too and sing the lyrics surprisingly well.
- Drew has gotten really good at puzzles and I just love to watch his chubby little fingers fit the pieces where they need to be.
