a record-breakingly long photo recap of our time in Alabama

Long and in no order.............

Gracie, Luke, and Drew enjoying some time on the beach with Gram and Grandpa.
Nini and Drew walking on the beach- I love this picture.
Luke had so much fun flying planes at the beach.
Erin, Chad, and Addi

Sadly, by the end of the trip the kids could no longer get into the water because of the oil spill, but they still had a great time playing in the soft, white sand.

Walking on the beach is always the highlight of any vacation for me.

the Koski family on the dolphin cruise

Addi- almost three, Gracie- almost seven, Ella- three and a half

Very cool that Brian, Erin, and I were able to be with my dad on Father's Day.

We traveled to Foley, Alabama to hit an amazing Farmer's Market where we purchased sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelon, and other goodies for our turn at the evening meal.

We spent LOTS of time at the pool.

One of my dad's many talents is getting babies to take a good nap. :)

Joe has got to be the most patient big cousin in the world!

I think Kenny looks just gorgeous in Gracie's hat.

Each family took one night of the trip to prepare a meal for the group. This picture was taken during preparation on Barb, Jeff, and Patti's night- shrimp jambalaya and key lime pie. The music was playing, people were dancing, the drinks were flowing. Such a nice memory.

Ben and I really enjoyed our early morning walk to take Drew to see the ocean for the first time.

Gracie drawing at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art- I highly recommend this museum!

Erin got this picture of Gracie on the beach on our last night in Alabama. The moon was so beautiful.

Gram and Grandpa with their grandbabies.

Drew singing "Moon, Moon, Moon" to Meaghan. (Thanks, Erin, for the picture!)

This picture makes me laugh no matter how many times I look at it. :) Luke would not let Drew chase after the blue heron and he was not happy about it!

One of the best parts of the trip for me was kayaking with the kids.

Drew, Luke, and Ella with their cool shades.

Last night in Alabama....why does vacation have to end???

GREAT pics Leslie...and some I hadn't even seen yet. It really was such a fun week, the boys are really missing everyone and the pool! We'll see you in a couple of weeks at the recap party :-)
