Before Sesame Street begins, there is usually a commercial showing kids running around Chuck E. Cheese having the time of their lives with the tagline, "Where a kid can be a kid."
The kids have been requesting a trip to Chuck E. Cheese for about two years, but we just haven't been in the biggest hurry to go. I pictured chaos, overpriced pizza, germs, and feeling like it was hard to keep track of the kids.
When Meggie called to see if we wanted to meet them for Trevor's birthday, we decided to finally give it a try.
I am so pleased to report it was much better than I thought it would be.
Meggie says they have recently renovated it, which is probably why it seemed so open and clean. We didn't have to spend a ton, the pizza was decent, and the games were fun. It was a fun night.
And so hard to believe that Trevor is three! Where is time going??
