still smiling

This afternoon I got to see the face of the sweet little baby who I've been thinking so much about. He looked so precious.

Yep, he.

The newest addition to our family will be a sweet baby boy.

The ultrasound was a wonderful experience. It's so special to be able to see an adorable profile, ten fingers, ten toes, a beating heartbeat- everything just feels more real. The best part of the experience was having Gracie and Luke with us. Gracie was so very excited about going that she had a hard time falling asleep last night. Luke told me at breakfast, "Today is the day we get to see our new baby's picture!" They both enjoyed seeing the heartbeat on the screen and watching him put his hand up to his mouth. I'm still smiling thinking about it.

I'm off to bed, but will try to scan and post the ultrasound pictures tomorrow.

It looks like Katie is going to get a new name. Perhaps Luke will finally get his Moose-Moose brother!

I can't wait to get my hands on the little guy - if only to feel him kick for now.

See you in a week!
