ballet class

Last night was Family Night at dance class. Normally I can only watch the class through a small window, but last night Ben, Luke, and I had the opportunity to sit in the studio to watch. Not much is cuter than a bunch of four year olds in tutus! Gracie was full of energy and very excited to have us there to see her. My favorite part was the creative movement portion of the class where the little girls danced around the studio as whatever the teacher called out. Seeing Gracie dance as a snowman was funny.

I feel really happy that we found this studio. The class size is small (Gracie and three other girls) and the teacher is great. There are even two teacher assistants to help keep the little girls on task. My biggest concern with her previous class was the amount of time Gracie spent in line waiting to dance (there were twelve girls and one teacher). This time around, the assistants have them practicing in line while they wait.
