ice skating

One of Katie's good friends had an ice skating birthday party last week. She has been wanting to ice skate for a while now, so this seemed the perfect occasion to give it a try. We had one pretty good lap around the rink before a kindergarten friend (whose mom wasn't feeling well and texted to ask me to please keep an eye on her daughter during the party) decided that the three of us all needed to skate together. Two kindergarteners, one adult, and one skate assist plastic walker- all traveling around the rink at the speed of about one lap per every ten minutes- and I am not exaggerating for effect. I just had to laugh.
