Why I Blog:
Ben is upstairs taking a final for his MBA. The girls are sleeping in after a busy Thanksgiving trip to Decatur. My early-rising boys are hanging out in the family room. As I drink my coffee and wake up slowly this morning, I find myself following the links to earlier blog posts on my blog.
This post makes me ridiculously sentimental and happy:

In this post, I shared 32 things about my life at 32- back when my life looked pretty different than it does now. I was a younger mom to three little ones. We were new to Tennessee and I was working on building a life there. It was neat to read back over all of the things I shared and to see how much was the same and how much has changed.
What was even better was reading all of the comments where some of my favorite people shared similar lists about themselves. What a treat to read on this quiet Sunday morning!
The past thirty minutes of my life could not better exemplify why I blog.
