high school football game
Last Friday night Ben and I sat at a football game together again- this time twenty one years later and NOT as high school students but as parents with four kids and two kid friends with us. Time passes, doesn't it? I was very aware of this while sitting at the game.
Gracie was invited to play with the high school band for the pre game show. She was very excited and it was contagious. Luke's good friend Jude went with us and he and Luke were very into the whole scene. Drew was fascinated with the game itself, asking Ben question after question after question just trying to get it all figured out. Kate was entertained by the cheerleaders right in front of us and by Gracie's friend Sydney who sat with us while Grace was with the band.
