Out of the kindergartener's mouth in the past hour since school pick up:
"Chores are for nerds, I say." (trying to get out of sweeping the floor)
"You are my precious canine and the best four legged creature I've ever loved." (to Bear, of course)
"It's okay if moms trick for good reasons. I know you tricked me when you called the spinach tortellini "Popeye noodles", but I'm not upset because really, who wants to eat spinach?!? It was a trick for health purposes."
"If Grace was a cheese, she would be a sharp cheddar."
Never, ever a dull moment. :)
