{always singing}
Just wanted to share a smile-
Gracie, Drew, and Katie are almost always singing. Rather than playing silently, if they are doing something independently such as coloring or doing a puzzle, they are usually singing while they do it. Sometimes the songs are family favorites like "You Are My Sunshine" and sometimes they are songs popular on the radio. It is also pretty common for Gracie to make up her own little songs. (And just to clarify.... Katie's singing would be a little hard for probably anyone but her doting family to understand, but we get it.)
Right now I am in the kitchen with Katie while she has breakfast. She is eating her yogurt and singing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" between bites.
Drew is in the family room playing with action figurines and singing "This Aint Your Mama's Broken Heart" by Miranda Lambert while he plays. (This song choice just cracks me up. It is humorous to hear your four year old sing the line "You are actin' kinda crazy.... just start actin' like a lady"....)
