One of our favorite places to go in Knoxville is McKay's Used Book Store. The store is massive and always crowded, but we still love it! Yesterday I took in a couple stacks of books that were in our storage room from my teaching days- mostly books that were duplicates or starting to seem dated. We were able to use the store credit from their purchase of those books to come home with treasures for everyone. Combine that with a stop for ice cream and a trip to the Y for swimming, and you have a pretty nice Saturday!

I got a stack of quick-read modern fiction:

Ben got two Malcolm Gladwell books he's read but wanted to add to his professional library:

Gracie got a stack of old-school Babysitter's Club books:

Luke got Scooby Doo mysteries and some books for me to read aloud to him:

Drew picked out a few Berenstain Bears books to complete our family collection:

Little Katie got some books to add to the bookcase in her room: (These books, mostly hardcovers, were thirty five cents each. Can you beat that?)

Gracie had her new camera with her and took some pictures to document our day-

Babysitter's Club. I was just wondering if those were still in vogue for young girls.

Looking forward to our Girl's Getaway in Nash-Vegas.:)
