Ben took Luke to a UT game tonight and Drew went to bed super early after a fun, busy day, so Gracie and I had a cozy night together at home, just the girls. We popped some popcorn, put on our jammies, and curled up on the couch with a Netflix. Gracie got to choose the movie and she chose a Mary Kate and Ashley movie, When In Rome. It was cheesy and predictable, but harmless and entertaining.
Watching the movie with her, I was struck by her innocence and naivety. About twenty minutes into the movie, she said, "I think someone will get married in this movie." Twenty minutes later, two of the main characters shared a very G-rated kiss. Gracie turned to me and said, "See, I told you someone was going to get married."
It just made me smile that she would think that one kiss means marriage. Let's hope she keeps this attitude through her teen years. ;)
