I am sitting in an empty living room.

e.m.p.t.y.

Empty.

Kinda sad.

The movers arrived last Thursday morning and by Friday afternoon had the entire contents of our house in cardboard boxes. By seven this evening, the house was completely barren- short of three suitcases of clothes and toys, a basket of snacks and plastic dishes, and two blow up beds.

So we are camping out in our house for the next two nights, which Gracie and Luke could not be much more excited about.

Me? I can not wait to get there. As soon as I have signed my name for the last time at the closing on Wednesday morning, we'll be hitting the road. We're breaking up the drive a bit in order to keep it fun and exciting for the kids, so we'll be stopping Wednesday night to stay at a hotel- where a swimming pool and going out for pancakes for breakfast will be a major treat for Gracie and Luke. Once we arrive in Knoxville on Thursday afternoon, we'll take a little drive around our new town and then have another fun camp out in the new house. The moving vans are scheduled to arrive bright and early Friday morning.....and then the real fun begins!

I always hate the in between stage you kind of feel homeless like you don't belong anywhere. We still wake up and have to think "now where are we what town am I in?" Soon you will be "home again" and all together. I will be thinking of you all this week and praying for a smooth transition.

Love,
Sally

Ditto. Hang in there. Grace and Luke will remember only the wonderful adventure you have created for them. What lucky kids they are.

I'm kind of sad as well. Many good times were had at that house. I know there will be many good ones at the new one as well.
