{a happy list}

It's Saturday, the sun is shining despite the eight inches of snow on the ground, and the kids have some friends over to play. It's a good day.


A stream-of-consciousness list of some of the things making me happy today:

• giggles from happy kids
• blueberry pancakes
• sunshine
• new words coming out of Drew's mouth all the time
• wonderful neighbors like Derrick and Becky who shovel our driveway and pick up milk for us while at the grocery store
• comfy clothes
• having all of the laundry done and put away
• cuddling up in bed last night with Gracie and Luke (I woke up this morning with Luke lying across my legs and Gracie snuggled under my arm. Cozy.)
• a fluffy new comforter on my bed
• making homemade Valentine cards with Grace
• sweet emails
• watching Drew try to keep up with the five older kids in the house right now
• anticipating Ben getting home in a little bit. I hate when he is gone.
