it's the little things....

Tonight I'm happy because-

• Luke told me on Friday that he was "filled of joy."
• I got to see a cute chick flick today with some friends. It is so rare for me to go to the movies!
• We had three couples over last night for dinner and drinks and playtime for the kids. It was kind of my ideal Saturday night.
• Drew is now sleeping two six hour stretches at night. Aaahhhhh.
• I am having so much fun going through all of my old pictures for the valentine blog entries.
• Ben is home from his business trip. Parenting is so much easier with a partner.
• I got the prettiest hydrangeas from the store yesterday and they make my whole living room happier.
• The weather here today felt like spring.
• Gracie has been working so hard on her valentines for her class party on Thursday.
• A sweet friend gave me a cute new "H" for my collection.
• I just heard Taylor say my name on the phone.
• Mardi Gras plans have been finalized and is now getting closer. I can't wait for a fun weekend with friends!
• I'm listening to the Sugarland CD. I love it.
• My parents and I made tentative plans today to take a little road trip together while the kids have Spring Break in March.
• Our bathroom project is 90% complete.
• Ben dressed himself and all three kids in Illini gear to watch the game today.
• We have way too many yummy treats sitting in our kitchen leftover from last night- brownies, cookie bars, M & Ms...... walking through the room is an exercise in willpower.
• Ben is waiting for me in the living room to curl up on the couch and watch TV.

Life is good. :)
