{five months old}

At five months old, Drew is:

• playing with his voice constantly
• currently protesting naps and sleep of any kind
• laughing at peek-a-boo, zerberts, and the eating of his toes and pitties
• showing interest when we eat or drink
• weighing in at just under seventeen pounds
• perfectly content when he is in my arms- he loves to watch the world from my hip
• chewing on his hands and toys constantly
• very unhappy when he realizes he is alone in a room
• beginning to use a tippy cup for water
• controlling his body pretty well- he can sit up in his highchair and activity center for up to twenty five minutes at a time
• just beginning to eat cereal
• nursing about every three hours
• grabbing for things, especially my necklaces or the food on my plate if I hold him during dinner
• a little charmer- his huge smile and dimple get him lots of attention out in public

Life is so good around here right now. I love this age. He is just the sweetest little guy and he makes us all so happy.
