family

I was upstairs putting away laundry, Drew was in his swing, and Gracie and Luke were playing at the kitchen table. I heard Drew begin to cry, and quickly finished putting away the basket I was emptying. I heard him stop and assumed that he had fallen asleep. I walked downstairs and saw this instead-
(In case it is hard to see, Gracie is giving Drew his binky and Luke is singing him a song.)

I'm so proud of the kind of siblings that Grace and Luke are to Drew. I really do keep expecting the honeymoon period to end, but they are both just infatuated with him- and Drew is the same with them! In fact, Luke can get a smile out of Drew anytime he speaks to him. And Gracie is just a natural when it comes to meeting his needs. She really is a tremendous help with all things Drew. I'm so proud of my big kids!
