flannel garland

I came across this craft idea online and we thought it was so much fun I wanted to pass it along.

Gracie cut squares of red flannel and we strung it onto wire like we were stringing popcorn.

It was super easy, very inexpensive (about $6 total), kid-friendly, and fast (completed in one evening). This project was really relaxing...kind of like knitting or needlepoint. We are pretty pleased with the end result.

Gracie and Luke are reqesting that we make more, so another trip to the fabric store is probably in my near future.
