Myers-Briggs

I've taken the Myers-Briggs personality test twice before- the test was used in both my undergrad and graduate Psychology classes- and always found the results very interesting.

When I was recently sent a link to take the test online, my curiousity got me. The questions were a bit different than I remember, and I had to force myself not to overanalyze each question.

My results? Although I had been an INFJ both times prior, evidently I've changed a bit in the past five years. Now I'm an ISFJ, standing for Introverted Sensing Feeling Judging. 6% of the population share my personailty type.

If you're interested in your personailty type, you can take the test at:
http://www.personalitytest.net/cgi-bin/q.pl

The test takes about five minutes to complete. If you take it- or have taken it in the past-I'd love to hear your personality type.

ISTJ-"Trustee" These are dependable pillars of strength. They often try to reform their mates and other people. They make good bank examiners, auditors, accountants, and phys. ed. teachers, and boy or girl scouts! 6% of the total population

That sounds like me, I've always thought I'd be a good girl scout.
I'm the same as I always was-
ESFJ: "Seller".
Most sociable of all types. Outstanding host or hostesses. They may be dependent, first on parents and later on spouses. They excel in service occupations involving personal contact. 13% of the total population.
Special Ed teacher was on my list-hooray!
I'm curious what personality type Ben is...other than dork.

ENFP: "Journalist"

These people love novelty and surprises. They are big on emotions and expression. Life is an exciting drama. They are good at sales, advertising, politics, and acting. 5% of the total population.

Sounds pretty right on for me, too...and oddly enough, my mom. I wonder if she'll take this. She's keeps pushing me to be a writer like she is. Perhaps my personality type means I should try to write!

How intuitive of you, Meaghan. Like mother, like daughter: ENFP: Journalist (how appropriate?!).

I have tested several times before and I usually end up with an ENFP/ENFJ split.

I find a lot of the questions I could answer either way.... Sometimes my desk is messy, but I prefer to have it completely organized. I like to plan things in advance (control freak), but if something better comes up, I will gladly ditch my plans to experience something new.

I too have taken this before, but I can't remember exactly what I was. I just took it and am an ISFJ (Leslie, are you surprised?) I really had to make a conscientious effort to answer the questions in a somewhat timely manner so that I didn't overthink them. I overthink things so that much that I have even annoyed myself at times!

ENFJ Pedagogue
Outstanding leader of groups. Can be aggressive at helping others to be the best that they can be. 5% of the total population.

I am a bit surprised. I thought for sure I would be a THKE (Thinks he knows everything). :)

What is Ben?

Mark (Grandpa)

ISTJ - yeah Chad

I use to teeter between ISTJ and INTJ but when I started working as a programmer it really pushed me over to the S side. I think you will find that the jobs we do really influence our personalities or maybe it's the other way around.

Maybe they should change this personality type to the nerds since it seems to be accountants, scientist and Techies.

I don't know if it is all right but it is alright I guess. I think drama isn't my thing but I do like excitment.

Hey Ben - not only do we share the same birthday, but we also have the same "personality."

I always thought you were special!
Crystal and I are both "Sellers"? How did you end up as a surgical tech?? I don't want you selling me anything, I've heard your stories LOL!

I also changed from an INFJ to an ISFJ, which surprised me. I'm always giving Bridget a hard time for being such an "S" and needing lots of data - she drives me crazy! Maybe she's rubbing off on me.

I want Bryan to take it - I've never been able to convince him to do it. It all fascinates me.
