baby boy update
I had an OB appointment and an ultrasound this afternoon. Unfortunately, our little guy's kidneys (now both, not just the right as before) are still a cause for concern, so Dr. Priddy has referred me to a high risk OB. I'll meet with him next week for an even more detailed ultrasound and then we'll know more.
The ultrasound showed that he might be a pretty big baby- he is measuring approximately 5 1/2 pounds right now, with another month to grow! Gracie was just barely over six pounds at birth, but Luke was close to nine. We'll just have to wait and see how big this little guy is....
Everything else looks good. The low placenta that was previously such a concern has corrected itself, which is a huge comfort! We're now entering the stage of pregnancy where I'll be at the doctor's office constantly, I guess even more now that the new OB will be involved too.
I am so looking forward to holding him in my arms.
