Meet Paula Deen and Chef Good Cook:

We're in relaxed summer mode and I love it. It's been wonderful adjusting to life without babysitting. We are once again on our schedule, not Ana's. There were so many days that we felt just stuck in our house- waiting for Ana or Abby to arrive or to wake up from a nap or to be picked up.... it's been great to be on the go anytime we'd like. The kids love having free reign of the house without worrying about their volume. The first week without Ana and Abby, Luke kept asking, "Is anyone sleeping?"
It's been a nice and busy week- a new playgroup, a puppet show, a long trip to the library, Father's Day gift shopping, a day at the Childrens' Museum, bike riding, a new summer Creative Movement class, a playdate, and lots of art projects and play cooking. It's been exactly what I was hoping for this summer- a chance to really enjoy life with preschoolers before we get back into newborn mode this fall.
