weekending

Oh, lovely, relaxing, easy weekend... you were just what we needed after three of my chickadees returned to school last week.

It wasn't anything special. Lots of play, a trip to the library, a Back To School Picnic today, lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant after church today with our pastor (He is wonderful about trying to really get to know all of the families at our church. He has asked us a couple of times if he could tag along on a family outing sometime. He asked again this morning, so we invited him to lunch with us after the service. Good guy, that Chris Abel.), a movie for Gracie and Ben .... short of a few outbursts from two littles in the family adjusting to a new routine, our weekend was very, very good to us.

And now we gear up for an even busier week ahead. Ben has some travel this week and I go back to work for teacher meetings and professional development. Soccer practices are in full effect and Gracie is in a tournament next weekend. (Wish her luck! This is all brand new to her!) I have about twenty individual orders to fill for My Home Is My Happy Place as well as another huge order for White Rabbit to be delivered on Friday. It will get done. It will get done. It will get done. I repeat this to myself when I get overwhelmed. Life is good when I take one thing at a time.
