my shadow

I slipped out of the kitchen where Katie was eating a snack and came into another room. Not more than two minutes passed and Katie walked up to me and said, "Here I am, Mom. I know you haven't seen me for a while. I was finishing my snack, but I am back now."

Ben always laughs that that Katie feels the need to keep me CONSTANTLY informed of her status. She is 1000% my shadow and sidekick.
