{summer weekend}
Aaahhhhh, summer. I love you.
It was a great, laid back weekend. The temperatures were nice with no rain, and we just really enjoyed three days of summer. An all-day play date on Friday with the Ebberts, a baseball tournament Friday night, garage sales Saturday morning, lunch on the lake followed by a little exploring on Saturday afternoon, good conversation and an adult drink with Ben on Saturday night, a great church service on Sunday morning, shopping with Gracie on Sunday afternoon, and two yummy meals grilled out by Ben. Perfection.
Sprinkled throughout the weekend was also a bit of work around the house, lots of reading, and lots and lots of steps by Katie. We almost have a walker on our hands! Eleven steps is the record so far. Of course when I try to record her walking, she sits down- every time! I'm hoping to catch her in the act sometime today so I can share it.
