{this & that}

  • Three kids on antibiotics and eye drops at one time- this may be a new record for our family.  I told Luke he better hurry up and get sick so he can join in on the fun.
  • Besides getting to know their doctor really well, the kids have been busy with fun end of the year activities.  Field trips, class parties, Field Day, a class skit in the Talent Show, Teacher Appreciation Week, K-Kids wrap up party, final art class....... the end of a school year is such a fun time!
  • We are in happy anticipation of Katie's upcoming birthday.  We're not planning a very big party, but we are determined to make it a special one. It is our last first birthday after all!  We are very much looking forward to a wonderful weekend with family from Decatur and some good friends we've made here in Knoxville. My fingers are crossed for beautiful weather on May 19 so we can have a pretty afternoon in the yard as we celebrate.
  • We rented a power washer over the weekend to clean some areas outside.  There is something so unbelievable satisfying about using a power washer.... I am so hooked! Ben joked that he now knows what to get me for my birthday.

Happy Monday! Hope your week started out wonderfully!

you are funny. Mom was the same way she borrowed our power washer and I think she sprayed down everything in the yard that she could.

Ben may well be serious. We hedenberg men are quite fond of buying practicle gifts for the women in our lives. what could be more practical than your very own power washer. well maybe a new bowling ball like homer bought marge.

Oh Leslie, now you've done it. Get ready for a power washer, a vacuum, maybe a lawn mower...who knows?
