Gracie and Luke are so close in age (fifteen months apart) that they have always played with one another. I love their relationship and am so happy that they are as close as they are.
Our original plan was to have four kids, two sets of two really close in age. According to this original plan, Katie was "supposed" to have been born about a year before she was so that she and Drew could be as close in age as Gracie and Luke are, but the move to Tennessee threw things off a bit. Such is life, right?
I have felt a little bad about this for a while, worrying that they wouldn't bond as well as their two older siblings always have. Lately, just lately, though, I have been seeing little scenes like this one that make my heart smile.
