house frustrations....

...in the style of If You Give A Pig A Pancake for my teacher friends :)

If you decide to move a couch, you'll have to put something else in its place.

You'll move a book case to that spot, but it just won't look right with the pictures hanging on the wall, so you'll want to move those too.

When you move those pictures, you'll notice that you have a few too many holes in the wall, so you'll decide to patch them.

Once you patch them, you'll take a closer look at the wall and see a few too many scuffs as well, so you'll decide to repaint that wall.

You'll head to the garage where the leftover paint is stored, but once you find the can, you'll notice that there is not much in it, so you'll head to the paint store.

The nice people at the paint store will try to make you another gallon, but will find that that color has been discontinued, so they'll have to match it as best as they can.

You'll agree and optimistically think that it will be fine and head home to touch up your wall.

You'll begin painting, but with the first stroke, you'll begin to get a worried feeling in your stomach.

You'll continue painting only to find that the colors are not the same at all, and your small project will suddenly be a much bigger project.

So is life. :)
