I love-

I love that happiness when you are six years old looks like a plate of pear slices, a bucket of art supplies, and "The Greatest Showman" soundtrack. It's the little things.

I love sunshiny days after a few days of being cooped up inside and the way the kids and the dogs just want to be outside.

I love unexpected mail from the sweetest friends.

I love the anticipation of a trip.

I love sweet four year old students and all of the hugs I get on an hourly basis.

I love my strong, smart, kind, confident freshman. She makes me so proud.

I love liking my kids' friends. We've collected some great people to do life with.

I love lunch dates with Ben. When he happens to be in town, we like to take advantage of the opportunity to grab lunch together.

I love my gym. It is not always easy to make the time to go, but I always (always, always) feel better about everything after I've put in a hard hour. It clears my mind and relaxes me.

I love baking and cooking with Drew. He is careful and enthusiastic about anything I let him make or help me make.

I love my two dogs that just like to be near me. If I am in their part of the house, they are never far from my feet. If I sit down on the couch, they take it as an invitation to be on my lap.

I love that Luke asks me every afternoon as soon as he gets home if I had a good day and then sincerely listens to my answer.

I love that Kate moves through the house like a ballerina about half the time these days.
