snapshots of summer

I didn't blog as much this summer as I would have liked. This post is a catch up of sorts.

so glad these two have each other.

I went to get my keys off the island one day and found some extra sparkle on my keychain.

Gracie and her friend Sarah were inseperable this summer, so it is fitting she is pictured on the blog. 
You can't pick your kids friends, but if I could, Sarah is a friend I would pick.

LOVE when she visits.

Everyone else in the family had plans, so Kate and I got to have a date.
We painted, went to a bookstore, had coffee/hot cocoa together,
 and shopped for a new dress for the first day of first grade.
I don't think she stopped talking for three hours straight.
People who don't know her well think she is quiet. Little do they know......

One of many date night we enjoyed this summer.
Pretty great being able to take some time for US now that the kids are a little older.

Our good friends live on the WG parade route and we loved spending the 4th at their house.

These two like to earn money helping out in the studio.
They really are careful workers!

Whenever we could, we would spend a little time outdoors.

Usually there are about 1,000 stuffies in the scene as well.

Auggie recently got neutered and microchipped, and then came down with an infection.
 It wasn't a great time in his little dog life. Bear stayed close.
