Last night the boys were playing together in the basement and Luke told Drew that he was a good "M-effer" with a pat on the back.

Huh?

I casually questioned him and found out that in their game, "M-effer" means "Master Forester."

I just laughed so hard at my desk that I had to share that story with my co-worker. Of course "M-effer" means "Master Forester"
I hear "M-effer" fairly often at school...I'll have to let the kids know what that really means.

barb you can't expect us to believe that your students didn't know what you teachers were talking about when you used those words.

Luke is so funny, and I really do believe he meant Master Forester although I'm not even sure what that means. I will say that luke is quite the listener and reader so he could have heard it up somewhere and assigned it what he thought it meant. After all sitting watching tv with him he asked me what "friends with benefits meant".... awkward! I told him it was a grown up thing and quickly changed the subject. Hopefully he stays as naive as I was. I thought "let's get physical" was workout song until i was older and heard it again!
