MY LIFE 7/13/09
Time....2:26 in the afternoon.
I am working on..... absolutely nothing, but should be doing all sorts of things! I have a headache draining me of all of my energy.
I am thankful ... for the fun morning we had at the library, for two wonderful sets of parents gearing up for time at our house next week, that I could cancel Drew's eye appointment this week as his clogged tear duct seems to have corrected itself.
From the kitchen... I am waiting for a pot of coffee to brew.
I am wearing... a green sundress and sandals.
I am creating.... (helping Gracie to create) thank you cards from her birthday party.
I am going... to spend the week enjoying the kids. Ben and I leave for California on Saturday morning and the realization that I will be away from them for eight days is starting to hit me.
I am reading.... I just bought two new books- Shanghai Girls by Lisa See and an easy read by Kirsten Hannah, but I'm trying to save them for the trip.
I am hoping... Ben and I have an amazing trip together next week.
I am hearing ... Drew's little snores on the baby monitor, Gracie and Luke giggling in the playroom, the washing machine running, the Wicked soundtrack on my iPod.
Around the house...toys, the makings of thank-you cards, new library books all over the living room couch and floor.
Making me happy right now... a bright and sunny day, the bracelets I'm wearing that Gracie picked out for me, Drew's ears are better and he is back to sleeping through the night, Luke telling me this morning that I'm his favorite girl ever.
A few plans for the rest of the week....a couple of playdates, Gracie's six year check up, packing for our trip, getting everything ready for the week that I'm away, taking the kids to Patti on Friday night, leaving for CA on Sat. morning.
