Happy Friday night!
It has been just a good day and we're all in great moods waiting for Ben to get home from work so our weekend can really begin. :)
Things I'm happy about and grateful for today-
* sunshine
* kids in flip flops
* playdates at the park
* Panera's Asiago Roast Beef sandwich- soooooo yummy!
* the smell of cake baking in the oven
* adorable Drew smiles with two little teeth showing
* tackling my long to- do list
* shopping at my favorite children's resale shop this afternoon (four sundresses for Gracie at $5.50 each- all in like new condition. Gotta love a bargain!)
* Luke's creation from preschool today- a tower made of paper towel holders and the ends of orange juice tubes
* Gracie's excitement over making butter at school today
* open windows
*the friendliness of complete strangers, especially when I am holding Drew. If you ever begin to doubt the general warmth and friendliness of the human race, hold a cute baby for a while. Everyone will talk to you, open doors for you, smile at you, etc. :)
*the ease of getting dressed on nice days- a sundress, a cute necklace, and a jean jacket and I'm set.
* plans with Ben tonight to share a bottle of wine and begin to plan our anniversary trip to California
